Welcome to the TSR Secret Santa Marathon 4!
TSR’s Secret Santa Marathon is in its fourth year, and it’s guaranteed to be a blast! Just like in the previous iterations, each member of TSR will participate in three 2-hour-long rounds of gaming.
In the first round, each player drew a name out of a hat weeks ago. The person on the piece of paper will receive a game chosen by the person who drew their name. The person playing the game will know what the game is ahead of time so they can practice.
For the second round, each play drew another name out of a hat weeks ago. This time, the name is kept secret, and the person who will be playing the game will find out their game at the beginning of the round. Essentially, many games will be blind runs, since they will have no time to practice. In many cases, games will be given outside the intended player’s comfort zone. This adds to tension, hilarity, and a fun time all around.
The third and final round requires each member to choose any game they would like. They will the wrap the box art like a present, and place it under a Christmas tree. At the beginning of the third round, each player will grab a random box under a tree and open it. Whichever game is in the box is what they’ll have to play for the third round.
The marathon will conclude once the last person has had a chance to play their games from all three rounds.
This marathon requires no physical attendance to participate, all you need to do is go to www.twitch.tv/triplespeedrunners or www.triplespeedrunners.com and watch. And if you like what you see, or are a fan of some of our great incentives, feel free to leave a donation. All donations go directly to Jax - we do not get any of the money!
Of course, if you cannot donate, fear not! Spreading the word through social media (Facebook and Twitter) to help bring others in is just as helpful!

|| ABOUT ||
This 54-hour marathon will benefit the family of Jackson Baldwin, a three-year-old child who suffers from a rare skin disease called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). RDEB has many painful symptoms, the most prominent being large blisters that develop in the skin frequently. They must be lanced, washed, wrapped and medicated daily.
Patients who have RDEB must also take many medications to alleviate pain and ward off other symptoms. Because of the high costs of special bandages and all of the required medicine, families who deal with this rare and devastating disease are constantly burdened with medical costs exceeding $5,000 per month.
Jackson’s mother, Jessica, is a single mom who devotes her entire life to caring for her son, as this condition requires 24-hour care. The disease also affects his eyes, ears, mouth, throat, and esophagus, and blisters form in these areas as well. RDEB is very rare, and a proper cure has not been developed yet. Researchers at the University of Minnesota are hard at work trying to figure out how to treat this horrible disease.
Members of TSR were touched by Jackson’s story, and would like to dedicate their 18th charity marathon to Save Jax.
